Staff and Volunteers at AMC are provided room and board for the duration of their stay. As well, members get to experience each of our various camps all while living in beautiful Riding Mountain National Park!

This job is full-time and seasonal for about four months and room and board is provided on top of your salary.   You’ll need a current Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check.  If you’re the right person for the job, we can help you obtain those.

You’ll work with young people and programming, be part of a fabulous team and get to try new things.

Think about sharing your gifts at the summer camp.   We need someone who can also supervise kitchen staff, create menus, monitor supplies and be an effective member of a team.

Getting wet is a big part of summer fun and we’re looking for a lifeguard to make sure that campers swim and boat safely.

Are you the one we’re looking for? It might be you, if your credentials are up to date with NLS Certification (or equivalent) and you want to spend your summer with happy people in the great outdoors.

The salary is competitive, we throw in room and board and the job is full-time for three to four months (negotiable).

It’s helpful if you have a boat license and WHMIS, but you can get that by your start date. A driver’s license would be nice.  You’ll already have CPR-C and Standard First Aid as part of your NLS. Last, you’ll need a medical certificate of health and a satisfactory Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector / Child Abuse Registry Check.

Volunteer Opportunities at AMC

Interested in working at Anglican Memorial Camp?

From May to September, we have Full-Time Positions available.

Camp Leaders are in charge of creating the weeks lessons, games, crafts, cabin assignments, delegating tasks and overall schedule.

  • Intermediate Camp
  • Teen Camp

Camp Leader Training will be held May Long weekend at St. Matthews Cathedral in Brandon, MB.

Health Officers must be a licensed and practicing RN, Doctor, Paramedic or equivalent. Health Officers are in Charge of medication, providing first aid and emergency care.

Counselors are in charge of cabin supervision, creating and partaking in games, lessons and weekly events alongside the campers.

Counselor Training will be held on May 18th – 21st at the Anglican Memorial Camp.

Grandparents are an added bonus to our camp. Grandparents provide an extra set of hands that may be needed (if needed) for the staff and volunteers, all while enjoying the youthful atmosphere of each camp.
